On the outskirts of Dublin City, this proposed complex of 144 apartments, ground floor supermarket, shopping mall, and double basement successfully achieved full planning permission.
The massing of the design was broken up into a series of individual blocks, culminating in a 9 storey corner tower, creating a new focal identity point to the surrounding urban streetscape. The landscaped gardens mimicked a meandering river reflecting the nearby iconic river Liffey.
Gary Hoban developed the concept design integrating a ground floor shopping centre and oversaw the detailed design development. On behalf of WCS Architects, he also negotiated the project through an appeals process until planning permission was successfully granted in 2010.
