The existing tennis clubhouse based in suburban SW London was both dilapidated and deficient in serving the needs of the local club.
The proposed pavilion design takes the form of a contemporary 2 storey pavilion. It incorporates new club changing facilities, club bar, a child-daycare facility, multi-purpose function room and expansive viewing galleries overlooking the tennis courts.
The predominantly glazed first floor level provides great connectivity between the playing courts and the public areas. The heavier stone clad ground floor encloses the intimate private spaces and changing facilities.
